Guided tour of the Periodic Table

Discover the fascinating world of the chemical elements and the stories hidden in a unique interactive installation at Albertov. In the building of the chemistry departments (Hlavova 8) you will see a large periodic table created for the 150th anniversary of Mendeleev’s discovery of the periodic law. During the guided tour you will learn how the elements make up our world, look into the history of Czech and world chemistry, and remember Bohuslav Brauner, an eminent Czech chemist who worked closely with Mendeleev.
